Company Background
Vend was founded by Vaughan Rowsell in 2010. Mr. Rowsell had dreamed of owning and developing a software company since he was a child. When Vend was launched, the intention was always to be a global company. It’s first few customers were from New Zealand, Australia and the UAE. The company now has a staff of over 200 working out of five offices around the globe and provides its software to retailers in over 130 countries. Vend’s headquarters are in Auckland and it has offices in San Francisco, Melbourne, Toronto and London.
