Company Background
Colm Lyon founded Realex Payments in Ireland in 2000 and was their CEO until September 2016. In 2007, Realex expanded into the UK Market, followed by the French market in 2010. The company opened its new headquarters in Dublin in 2012. Global Payments acquired Realex in March 2015 for €115 million.
