allpay Managed Service
All Direct Debit clients are allocated their Service User Numbers at their banks, allowing their businesses’ names to be visible on all documents and correspondence with customers – even on the customer’s bank statements.
Even if a company cannot get direct sponsorship into the Bacs scheme, allpay can still offer Direct Debit Service as a Bacs-accredited Facilities Management provider.
In these cases, allpay will be held responsible for adhering to Bacs regulations by collecting and processing Bacs reports through their system. This includes bank changes, unpaid Direct Debits, and indemnity claims.
The company will also help with the payment reconciliation process via daily Payment Information Files.
Finally, they will correspond with the payer about the confirmation of setup or advanced notice.
A UK-based team runs all allpay’s Direct Debit services. allpay also provides clients setup confirmations, transactional data on collection day, and all set-up, collections, or credit rejections.

In addition, registered companies are also able to use their portal services to manage Direct Debit for their customers.
Although the business is responsible for following Bacs regulations as the Service User, allpay will engage in all of the activities and services mentioned in the section above: they will collect and process Bacs exception reports, unpaid Direct Debits, and bank changes, help reconcile processed, rejected, and returned items, and correspond with payers about setup confirmation or advanced notice.

Company Background
allpay is one of the UK’s payment services leaders. In 2020, they won the award for their Prepaid Mastercard solution. More than 50% of local authorities and almost the entire top-class housing sector in the UK use their payment channels.
Established in 1994, this company was developed with a vision to provide payment services to the public sector. Almost 30 years later, they have achieved their dream and gone beyond.
allpay created a suite of modern payment systems that are convenient for everyone: them as the middle-man, their clients (merchants), and the end user – their clients’ customers.
Since launching its card service in 2008, allpay.cards have become one of the fastest-growing brands in the plastic card manufacturing industry, with a sterling reputation among clients of all sizes.
User reviews from all around the web
Unfortunately, user reviews of allpay are rare. On one hand, this makes it difficult to make an objective judgement of the quality of their service, but on the other hand, it means that not many users felt the need to go out of their way and share their negative experience (also holds for good experiences).
