Company Background
Touchretail was founded in 2002 and was known as Retail Accounting Solutions. Its aim at that time was to develop software for retailers to assist them with accounting and management reporting and also to help them to move on to the latest software and hardware technology.
In 2008, Retail Accounting Solutions acquired Retail Software Ltd (t/a Fashion Support). The company then changed its name to Touchretail as it felt it reflected the company’s portfolio more accurately. Touchretail’s Irish company was opened in 2009. They have an exclusive licence to supply Touchretail’s product line. By 2011, Touchretail needed larger office space and moved into its current location in Cheadle.
Touchretail launched TRIMS in 2014. This innovative retail platform was well received and is used by many retailers through the UK.
