Having said that, Epoch does not charge any fees for setting up an account. However, if you are a merchant selling digital content from a U.S.-based company, you will be required to pay Visa and MasterCard registration fees.
For clients in the EU, only the MasterCard registration fee is applicable. To open an account with Epoch, you must accept both Visa and MasterCard. The initial fee and the annual renewal amount to $1,000 for EU and US merchants. This fee is paid during the contract initiation, and Epoch then pays the card associations on your behalf.
