Company Background
SmartTrade App was the brainchild of Keld van Schreven and Catherine Woolgar. In 2012 they started PhoneaPlumber.com to try and increase efficiency in job lead generation for plumbers. They began to realise that small businesses had problems when it came to managing payments and paperwork, so they set out to solve these problems. SmartTrade App was their solution and it was a world first; an app which allowed small business owners to collect payments just by scanning clients’ credit or debit cards using their smart phone.
