Flexible Vertical POS Devices
Miura Systems offers various payment models specifically designed for the purposes of businesses in the four industries they specialise in. These devices are part of the line M020 and are created with the help of their distinctive technology called the M-Link connector.
Here’s a brief description of their vertical solutions.
Retail stand: One of Miura Systems’ most popular devices for retail shops is their secure and robust stand. The stand can be fixed next to a shop counter and has an additional lock mechanism. If you want to protect it even further, you can add a PIN so only selected employees can have access to it. The stand also has an interface for USBs.
Desktop Cradle: The second device in the M020 collection is the Desktop Cradle. The cradle is optimised with all of the features of a portable electronic device (PED) desk. Just like the retail stand, you can manually lock it. The Cradle is also designed to be integrated with a POS.
Printer Module: Miura System’s Printer Module can be fully integrated with a POS solution. It’s powered by a battery created of lithium-ion and one thermal printing device. With the Printer Module, your staff will be able to complete transactions and print out receipts at the same time.
Multi-Charger: This innovative charging device is the perfect addition to all kinds of businesses, especially those with a fast-paced daily schedule. It incorporates a user-friendly system for racking, so you can charge various devices simultaneously.
Tablet POS: M-Link and M020 are compatible with Tablet POS devices. With these devices, your employees can quickly process payments from cards or mobiles. The tablet can be connected with M020 through Wi-Fi or with a USB cable, and you can charge both of them at the same time.
Smart battery: The only way to get the M020 last longer is by adding a smart battery to it. Miura Systems created a lightweight battery with an extra 1300 mAh, an excellent addition to retail shops that have a high number of daily transactions.
Smart case: This lightweight and innovative protective device was created with one purpose in mind – complete protection of the M020 devices. The case comes with various options for configuration and lets you process payments without extra effort. You can connect it to your POS with a USB or Bluetooth.
Integrated vehicle cradle: The In-Vehicle Cradle by Miura Systems is an excellent choice for transportation businesses. Its primary function is to secure the stability of the M020 devices during transportation. It can be adapted and integrated into all sorts of vehicles.
Peripheral development: With the help of the innovative M-Link technology, there’s an option to integrate various features and tools in the M020 devices by Miura Systems’ partners, or solutions provided by third parties.
mPOS
In addition to the M020 devices, Miura Systems can integrate M010 devices into mobile POS (mPOS) and POS solutions on tablet devices. Once the device is connected to the POS, your staff can use it wherever they are – inside or outside your store, on pop-up kiosks, events, etc. With the M010 device, your team will be able to make payments (EFTPOS) by using any type of smartphone or table.
Smart POS
In addition to the vertical devices, Miura Systems created a payment device known as Miura Android Smart POS, also called MASP. As the name suggests, this device is an Android-based platform with various integrations, such as the MPI (Payments Interface) and APIs. It also has a software development kit (SDK) support.
The device can be integrated into a POS so that you can streamline your company’s transactions in real time. Its display screen is 5.5 inches and is made of high-quality materials. MASP is both flexible and secure, and has the newest certifications, such as the P2PE and PCI PTS 6.x. It also has EMV (one and two) certified kernels for both contactless and contact payment.
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
Miura Systems can also offer you an entire ecosystem of hardware solutions to make the payment as secure and quick as possible. With only one integration your payments can be accepted through any type of device, at any location. You can use Miura Systems’ devices to process payments outside or inside your business, at self-service standing kiosks, various venues, etc.
Payment Options
Miura’s devices are fully integrated with various platforms for payment. There’s only one architecture that will offer you various payment options.
Here are some payment options provided by Miura:
Core API
This payment option is available for all of Miura Systems’ devices. It allows customers to pay with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. When you’re using it, you can also upgrade your own software, modify and update all of your payment parameters, and revoke or load the keys manually.
Integration for Smart Devices (MDE
The integration for smartphones, also known as Mobile Development Environment (MDE), lets you use iOS, Windows, or Android smartphones and tablets to keep in touch with Miura’s POS payment devices. There’s an entire suite of features and tools that you can use through MDE, and you can also integrate or customise various add-ons with it.
Java Application Development Environment (JADE)
The Java Application Development Environment (JADE) is a toolkit that you can use to customise all your payment applications for Miura’s M020 devices. This toolkit contains packaging features and comes with a full source code, which will help you customise and tailor your M020 devices’ features, even if you don’t have any extra knowledge in code.
